I wasn't pushed: Holmes a Court

Businessman and South Sydney Rabbitohs co-owner Peter Holmes a Court says he was not pushed to resign as the club's executive chairman.

Mr Holmes a Court stepped down from the position last month, but remains on the club's board.

Speaking in Brisbane today, he said it was the right time to hand the reins over to someone else.

"I was executive chairman for two years, unpaid, and supported the club because I believe in the club and I had done what I believe are the chunky long term things," he said.

"Beyond that, I make no other comments because it's in the domain of the coach and the players."

PHaC says he's unpaid, but he owns 37.5% of the football club. He owns four companies that are selling their services to the football and leagues clubs. He/Russell/Trivest bought a building and units valued around $26 million for just $10 million.

Parasite Peter has a very nicer earner.

I fear that PHaC stepping down is a complete nonsense.
He is still pulling the strings for sure.
